Daniel Scanlon has been actively involved in the contract research industry since its inception in the late 1980s.
In 1984, Scanlon joined Covance, then known as G.H. Besselaar Associates. He created a vibrant and innovative department to deliver IVRS and related technologies, saving the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry millions of dollars on wasted clinical supplies.
Scanlon launched a start-up in 1992 known as Interactive Clinical Technologies, Inc (ICTI). ICTI became an industry leader within two years. Within 4 years Scanlon grew the organization from start-up to over 125 employees internationally, with revenues of over 15M.
ICTI, at the forefront of innovative clinical technologies, implemented innovative applications of emerging technologies for the rapid completion of clinical trials providing quality systems and service to the industry.
In 2010 Scanlon founded Verdacom. Once an innovator of IVRS systems, Scanlon now innovates web-based platforms conducive to facilitating rapid decision-making for clinical as well as drug supplies personnel.
Verdacom's flagship product, VerdaCore, utilizes progressive yet tested and proven technologies to cut waste and streamline the process of managing subject and inventory data in multinational clinical trials.
Craig Mooney is a seasoned professional who.s experience gives him a well rounded approach to randomization and drug supply management. Craig spent his college summers in the halls of the industries first multinational clinical CRO, G. H. Besselaar Associates. During this time he forged relationships with those who would go on to plant the seeds of many organizations in the pharmaceutical services industry.
After graduating from St. Bonaventure University Craig returned full time to G.H. Besselaar Associate.s successor Corning Besselaar later known as Covance.
At Covance Craig took positions of increasing responsibility ultimately becoming one of the youngest Clinical Project Manager in the organizations history. During this time Craig accepted an assignment to Covance.s Singapore office to develop the local staff and train regional investigators in ICH GCP.
In 1998 Craig joined Interactive Clinical Technologies Inc. (ICTI) an upstart IVRS company. Craig was recruited to ICTI by founder Dan Scanlon with whom he worked with at G.H. Besselaar Associates. During his time at ICTI Craig became an expert in IVRS and a trusted advisor to his clients. Craig.s final appointment was Director, Clinical Services.
In 2002 Craig joined Fisher Clinical Services, a market leader in clinical supplies packaging and logistics. Initially assigned to Fisher.s IVRS offering, Craig expanded his knowledge base by pioneering the position of Sr. Program Director. In this position Craig was assigned to top 10 clients who contracted Fisher for multiple service offerings. Additionally, Craig.s special blend of attitude and technical skill made him perfect for assignment to clients with difficult challenges.
In 2010 Craig joins Founder Dan Scanlon at Verdacom as Chief Operating Officer. Craig brings with him experience in Clinical Research Management, Randomization and Drug Supply, and Packaging and Global Logistics.
